Welcome to the fifth biennial Kalamazoo Animation Festival International! The Call-for-Entries is now open in Commissioned, Students, Independent and Web animation categories. Register your film on-line for KAFI 2009. $15,000 in prize money and no entry fee!
The top 100 film-entries along with a collection of unique and avant-garde films will be screened at the historical State Theatre.
KAFI 2009 is held on May 14th-17th in downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan ...the heart of the mid-west at the campus of Kalamazoo Valley Community College's Center for New Media. During these four days, KAFI is alive with special guests, panels, workshops, film screenings, educational forums, portfolio reviews, recruiting and networking events that excite the senses for all audiences. Special family and student events are scheduled for the weekend along with the famous Network Picnic for attendees. You won't want to miss this one!
